Mr. Benninger is the founder of Global Leveraged Capital and GLC Advisors & Co. A recognized leader in restructuring, special situations investing, and gaming, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Truckee Gaming LLC, operator of eleven (11) casinos in Nevada; Louisiana Downs Casino & Racetrack in Bossier City, Louisiana; Delaware Park Casino & Racetrack in Wilmington, Delaware; and the DAPER Investment Fund, a co-investment vehicle with Stanford Management Company benefiting Stanford Athletics.
From 2017 to 2020, he served on the Board of Directors of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, the largest gaming company in the United States. He previously chaired Tropicana Entertainment Holdings, LLC, where he led the company through its successful Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. His additional board experience includes Video King, the largest provider of bingo equipment in North America, Revel Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, Squaw Valley Ski Corporation, and Affinity Gaming in Las Vegas.
Prior to founding Global Leveraged Capital, Mr. Benninger served as Global Head of Restructuring and Head of the Growth Capital Group at UBS Investment Bank from 2001 to 2006. He also served on the UBS North American Executive Management Committee. He has received numerous awards and recognition from international publications and industry groups including The Banker Magazine, IRR, Institutional Investor and the K&A Restructuring Register.
Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Benninger led restructuring practices at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette / CSFB from 1994 to 2001and previously held senior restructuring roles at Smith Barney and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Earlier in his career he was a Manager in the Audit and Accounting division of Arthur Andersen & Co. and earned his CPA designation. Mr. Benninger holds key person gaming licenses in 13 states and manufacturing licenses in over 80 jurisdictions.

David Bluth is a Managing Director and helps lead GLC Advisors’ Technology Investment Banking practice. Mr. Bluth is focused on advising middle-market software and technology services companies, and is responsible for cultivating and managing client relationships, providing clients access to an extensive network of private equity and strategic buyer relationships, and leading client M&A and capital raising transactions from the point of engagement through deal negotiations and closing. Mr. Bluth provides hands-on, client-first advice and senior-level judgement garnered through nearly 20 years of M&A and capital markets experience.
Mr. Bluth is a board member for SOFTWAREColorado, a Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network Advisor, and a frequent speaker on Technology M&A and other topics pertinent to entrepreneurs and business owners of growing technologies businesses.

Martha Chan is the Chief Financial Officer for GLC. Ms. Chan joined the firm in 2007 as its Vice President Finance/Controller. Prior to joining BMO, Mr. Geier spent 12 years at UBS in Healthcare-focused roles in Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets and High Yield Research. He previously covered the sector as a High Yield Analyst at BT Alex.Brown and Bank of America.

Abe Han is a Managing Director of GLC Advisors, which he co-founded in 2009. Mr. Han has served on Official Creditors Committee of Star Tribune in bankruptcy, Board of Directors of PRC and Urigen, and board observer of ADS Logistics, River’s Casino (Pittsburgh), Fallbrook Technologies and Invacare Corporation. Mr. Han currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Saddle River Day School.

Mr. Wathen was previously a Credit Analyst in the Credit Management Division of TD Bank N.A., where he focused on underwriting credit products for municipalities, middle market & community businesses, and non-profit organizations.
Mr. Wathen holds a BSBA with a concentration in Finance and Marketing, cum laude, from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Jim Williams is a Managing Director at GLC Advisors and a senior member of the firm's Technology investment banking practice. He advises software and tech-enabled services companies on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and private capital raises, with a particular focus on entrepreneur-owned and founder-led businesses.
Over the course of his investment banking career, Mr. Williams has helped business owners, management teams, and investors navigate critical strategic decisions and liquidity events, including company sales, ownership transitions, growth financings, and acquisitions. His experience is concentrated in B2B and B2G software, including vertical application and workflow software, as well as IT services and tech-enabled services businesses.
He works closely with clients through pivotal moments in the life of a company, helping them evaluate strategic alternatives, position their businesses effectively, and achieve successful outcomes. His experience advising software and technology businesses provides him with a deep understanding of the factors that drive valuation and buyer interest, including recurring revenue quality, customer retention, workflow criticality, and scalable growth.
Mr. Williams understands that for many business owners, a transaction is more than a financial event. It often represents the culmination of years, and sometimes decades, of work building a company. He works to understand each client's objectives and priorities, helping them navigate complex transactions with a focus on achieving exceptional outcomes.
Prior to joining GLC, Mr. Williams was a Director in KPMG Corporate Finance LLC's Technology, Media & Telecommunications investment banking group and previously served as a Vice President with St. Charles Capital, a technology-focused investment bank acquired by KPMG in 2014. Earlier in his career, he practiced law, advising clients on corporate, securities, and commercial matters.
Mr. Williams holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accountancy from Villanova University. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
Mr. Williams has completed the following FINRA Administered Qualification Examinations (Series 24, 62, 63, & 79).
